The company’s recent projects include a Middle East energy infrastructure project (KOC) and a European data center project. Both projects are significant in that they are challenging, national infrastructure projects. In doing so, the company has proven its technology and its reliability in real-world operations.
Union Biometrics is strengthening its overseas strategy to go beyond simple product sales and focus on project-based system supply. Based on security solutions that combine access control and IT authentication, the company plans to target markets with high security needs such as data centers, energy, and public institutions.
In addition, the company was re-designated as a promising company for overseas procurement market (G-PASS) by the Public Procurement Service and secured an A grade in the corporate capability assessment. With references in the Middle East and Europe, the company plans to expand into the public and infrastructure sectors.
“As we have proven our technology and stability through global infrastructure projects, we will continue to expand our overseas business based on this,” said Myung-Hoon Jang, President of Union Biometrics. “We will strengthen our competitiveness in the global market based on biometric-based authentication technology.”
